Tennessee Williams Tribute- Sweet Bird Of Youth

One of the things I have come to love in recent years is shooting theater photos. As most of you know, my hometown, Columbus, MS, is the birthplace of famed playwright Tennessee Williams. Perhaps you have heard of some of his work: A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, The Glass Menagerie, The Rose Tattoo, and many more.

Columbus is also home to the annual Tennessee Williams Tribute. You may remember my post from last year's production, A Streetcar Named Desire. This year's production was Sweet Bird Of youth, directed by my friend Rus Blackwell. Again, I feel truly blessed to make a living doing something I love. I hope it comes across in my photography. Enjoy!

I love the black and white shots, especially the first one. They look like old movies. Nice job my friend!

The black and white of Tom Jr and the one of Nonnie and Chance are my favorites

Hi Chris -- nice photos, and glad you like my former boss, Tennessee Williams. I was his last significant assistant and I just moved to Puerto Vallarta for good. THE NIGHT OF THE IGUANA is my favorite movie, and I'm organizing a 100th Birthday Party for TW here. Just met Liz Taylor's best friend and hope to get her here for it, but she is not in the best health right now.

See my book's website for more info: www.walkingonglass.net . Also my political blog. After I sent the FBI info on how the Republican Party stole most of TW's royalties after his death. I know who bribed whom and was with TW and Jackie Onassis when she convinced TW to change his will so that Sewanee did NOT get to manage the funds. The bastards bribed his maid and two scoundrels I know to testify falsely and overturn the codicil that changed this to Harvard in his will.

Obama's top advisor contacted me two days after I sent info to the FBI by secure server, and we met in Atlanta where I used to live. I keep sending them info because, well, read the blog if you like: scottkenan.blogspot.com.
